While admiring my tubifex worms, I discovered copepods.

  • Really, I think the tubifex worms absorb their sex organs after mating, so I don't know if that can count as gay. The copepods...they are male and female. You are right - there are probably some gay ones in there.

  • @imagesunlimiteduk 1. a month is not far too early.

    2. copepods are never a bad thing, they make mandarinfishes easier, and will keep fish fed when you are on short vacations.

3.they also clean some waste and algaes.

  • @imagesunlimiteduk I to have these in my sump shit loads I got about 300 in a glass and I put 1 tea spoon of Vinegar and that killed them in 30 minuets

  • what do you call something thats cool but freaks you out at the same time...

  • @imagesunlimiteduk mandarin fish eat Aot of these.

  • @imagesunlimiteduk , I am not very familiar with marine tanks, but as far as I know, copepods are not dangerous. They're plankton, no? Anyone? I think they might even be a good addition, in that they're life, and your other life forms can eat them up when they arrive at your tank.

  • i think i might set up a tank for tubifex worms, copepods, fairy shrimp, and a whole lot of little water critters (but no fish! I'm tired of fish tanks! The fish poop to much, and you have to feed them alot...)

  • Oh i have those in my tank too. cool

  • They're HUGE. (Well, for copepods.)

  • cool!

  • i have these too lol! dnt know how ur cams picked them up but they are real tiny in my tank .. considering putting in a mandarin if the poulation increases .. i love mandarins and i would like one to survive .. do u think he would apreciate the hundreds of tiny critters in my tank?
