  • If trinity was important, Matthew 24:14 would say; when Trinity has been preached, then the end would come. What's important is the preaching of Gods Kingdom. Now.... What is Gods Kingdom?

  • Bro. You already know that noone is going to find where someone was baptized father, son, holy spirit... stay steadfast in the truth bro!

  • I don't recall the letter J being in Scripture until the 1800's. So what was the name being used brfore then?

  • Matthew (28:19) was with Peter on the day of Pentecost (You know it's true)..what was Matthew doing .. (NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost)..no.. he was speaking in tongues and praising the one true God Jesus The Christ....

  • @MsSheilaSmith your arguing at the wrong person... and condtradicting yourself. your points dont have ANYTHING to do with the topic.

  • @deadline27 WELL... in that case why would God allow acts Romans and most of the new testament to be there?? Jesus himself in John said if you have seen me you have seen my father!! and by the way Jesus himself said unless you are born of water and of spirit you cannot enter into heaven... so sir those words came out of Jesus' mouth so now tell me you don't believe that or are you going to say well the gospels were wrote by man to?? you are always going to find a reason not to believe it.

  • @deadline27 you know i find it sooooooo soooo sooooo funny that when some one is talking about oneness and there something that totally puts down the trinity all they want to say is oh you guys are a cult... if we are wrong then explain to me why no one in the bible was baptized in the name if the Father of the Son and of the Holy Ghost?? or if we are wrong why Jesus said in John if you have seen me you have seen the father?? explain that

  • Almost every Bible scholar, Oneness and Trinitarian alike, agree that these (Matt. 28:19) were not the accual words of Jesus. Most say that the original Greek text read more along the lines of:

“Go and make disciples of all the nations (some add ‘baptizing them…’) in my name, teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you.”

  • Its like repeating what he said instead of doing what he said to do...ACTS 2:38...Just do it..?

  • for] Greek: eis (GSN-G1519), because of remission of sins. When one repents, which is always required in Scripture before baptism, he is immediately forgiven (1Jn. 1:9; Rom. 10:9-10). Only then is one a proper candidate for water baptism which is an outward symbol of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (1Pet. 3:21). It testifies to the world that one has already repented and been forgiven by faith in Christ (Eph. 2:8-9; Rom. 1:16; 3:24-25; 5:1). See note on Mt. 3:11.
