The Electronic and Computer Engineering Department at HKUST is committed to excellence in teaching and world-class research . We are proud that we have amassed a talented and dedicated group of faculty with Ph.D.'s from world-renowned universities and work experience from high-technology industries. Our faculty members are internationally recognized as inventors, academic leaders, entrepreneurs, Editors of prestigious journals, and Fellows of peer societies such as the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

The curriculum introduces students to both the fundamental and frontier knowledge in electrical engineering such as IC Design, Electronics, Wireless Communications, Multimedia Systems and Processing, Internet and Information Technologies, Display Technologies, Photonics, Bioengineering, Computer System Design, Nanotechnology, Networking, Consumer Electronics, Automation, and Robotics. Graduates can expect career opportunities in a wide scope of career paths including engineering and hi-tech industries, business and management, and higher degree studies locally or overseas.

  • p.s. mistakes made in this i tried to correct and re-post, but youtube wont re-post my topic so, i re-undeleted this for the time being.

  • My Dad has been in compter prograing since 1970s, when comuters tookup hole rooms, till in it now.

    My oldest brother has studied IT.

    The second youngest is studying Physics with Nanotechnology at University. The youngest brother (still at school) wants to contiune into A-levels with Media, IT, Design realted studies. I will pass this video onto them as it would certainly be of intrest! thankyou for posting.
