Is there any other kind of rape scene?

I don't remember anyone complaining about Goku from Dragon Ball having his entire race extinct, his planet blew up, his friends and himself suffering from severe injuries and even dying several times. What is it with female heroines that people don't like seeing them struggle for their lives? If anything, people not liking her getting hurt are belittling females, since they're showing they don't want to put her in that situation because apparently they think she can't handle it.

Let's go over this again. "I in fact said nothing about how she should or not react.". Remember? My point wasn't about character reaction. My point was showing the double standard there is when it comes to putting women in danger in the media. Nobody seems to care when guys go through shit worse than Lara did in this game, but when a girl does, it stirs a lot of controversy. Take for example the alleged "rape scene" in the game and all the negative backlash it got. Pathetic.

I think you misunderstood. I don't expect her to walk away from anywhere like it was nothing, I in fact said nothing about how she should or not react. I was counter arguing a guy who apparently didn't like seeing her getting through all that.

What? You can't just expect her to walk away like nothing happened after she got kidnapped, fell on that thing that went through her, kill a person, her friend gets kidnapped so they can sacrifice her etc, etc...

And either way you are talking for two 100% Different people. Everyone reacts to everything differently.

If you don't really know about Dragon Ball, why even bother replying? There's a limit to how many times they can be revived, and of course they can't be revived if someone destroys the whole planet along with the dragon balls, which is exactly what every villain tried to do. Don't make misinformed statements.

There is a big difference between those 2, Goku was part of a powerful race that can use those powers to fight and sometimes heal themselves (actually i dont know if the healing thing i just said is part of the techniques they had) and Lara on the other way she is a human who by the way can't revive, doesn't have super powers and is very vulnerable.

Yeah, puzzles and exploration are awesome, I definitely see where you're coming from. I like this kind of stuff too, though, I wouldn't mind Tomb Raider being about both, but I do agree the core of the series should also be respected.

Also agree on that guy being an idiot.
