You know, I'm a large, annoying straight, mean old white guy. But I love her music.
Someone please post a live version of "I'll Cover You," or "Troubled Mind." But just CC solo, not with someone (trying) to sing harmony -- and failing.
[I actually met CC when she played a bar in Eureka, and I took someone to see her. She asked me if I was the bouncer, and I said, "Hell no. I'm your FAN."

the house concert was actually at my aunt and uncle's and we got to hang out with her afterwards. i think she even spent the night. she was wonderful! a genuinely nice person, interested in us and interesting. so lovely. i would go see her play again anytime.
