Feeding dry kibble to a cat with or without raw at the same time is bad for the cat simply because dry kibble is bad for a cat.

I've fed raw for 10 years and have studied it.

I am all for raw. I do raw part time for my dogs and now my kitten. But you shouldn't feed at the same time as kibble. The digestion rate is different. Kibble takes longer. Have you had any gastrointestinal issue?

@VicktoryaStone Because a cat's prey would be warm. I just don't think it's a healthful practice to put 40 degree meat into a 100 degree stomach. It can cause stomach upset and vomiting in sensitive cats.

As for mixing raw with dry, it's a good way to transition the cat from kibble to raw. But kibble typically has grains and rancid fats, which every cat could live without. Once you've transitioned the cat to raw, dump the kibble.

why do you mix it with dry food? The cats teeth are getting no benefit out of chewing raw meat or bone in this teasing demo. But, a little is better than nothing.

@Tatooinedragracer well i cant cuz she will b suspicious about y the meat package is open i have fed her bits of raw fish and raw beef tho wen my mom goes away every month and my cat isnt very fond of the food sometimes she will walk away and eat cat food -__- i wpnder tho if that fresh pet food is good tho cuz im sure i can get her to eat that

@Sai007Anbu Feed your cats when your Mom is gone or asleep. She doesn't have to know. Your cat's health is more important than your Mom's emotional, irrational over-reaction to you feeding cats raw food.
