The Patriot Ledger is your original SOURCE for local news.
A Rockland man interrupted a coyote as it attacked a new born deer. The family has decided to nurse the baby buck deer back to strength and then release it on their farm so it can rejoin the large wild deer population that roam their property.

  • leave nature thefuck alone

  • you guys just took the coyotes food away that is wrong

  • great job guys

  • i agree

  • watch that will be the deer you kill when you go hunting

  • I wonder what happened to coyote. LOL

  • Hi buck buck.

  • plus i forgot to say, it might be illegal in your state to do that, some state have that law to stop people from grabbing animals that they think are "ophans" the mother was they somewhere

  • do these people stop to think that now the human scent is on it the mother will not take it back?, and that the coyote was just doing what comes natural? humans interfering with nature again, the coyote was trying to find food for its pups, they have them to coincide with the fawn births, so there is plenty of food, they are cute when small but get to be alot of problems when they get older, i know from experience. never again will i take a deer in like that, they should have left it alone!

  • Baby deer are also known as fawn.

Has anyone checked to see how the hungry Coyote is doing? Excuse me, I just had to ask.
