Watching Bears in Colorado part 2 - 2009-07-04

Natalie and I continue to watch the black bear at the house overlooking Manitou Springs. It was really cool to see one up this close. I'm not a real good judge of bear size, but based on the height of the porch railing and the drop to the ground where the bear was standing, it looks like this one stood about 4 feet tall on their hind legs. We had seen another one earlier in the day that was about the same size, but much lighter in color.
