I think this mask is a copy of the American M-17, which is often claimed to protect against NBC. I know for the M-17 that there are filters for tear gas and separate filters for NBC. I'm not sure wether those M17 filters could be used in the M10.

listen!!!!!! the om 10 is nbc the plastic wrapped filter are for training the foil wrapped filters are the real deal nbc i repeat nbc to many people have been mislead and dont know what theyre talking about!!!! please make a video and tell them the truth

You can get these real cheap, but I can't find anything on replacing the cheek filter with a new one. Any ideas where I can a buy new one?

The only true application of this mask in MY opinion is for tear gas. If you need airborn protection from say a virus; all you would need is a n95 face mask for 25 cents.

@smolkafilip relax, the info I have researched is there are several masks that are Identical to this one not all are NBC, so I am not comfortable doing a video telling people to buy this "surplus mask" as a NBC protection, even if it was the right one, its past its useful age at proper protection DO you understand, people have to do their own research.
