@xtdesign producing whole weapons means nothing, from a defense perspective, as soon as you put it on the market the enemy will copy it, it is microchips that can determine the outcome of an naval battle or shooting down an aircraft, there's so much yet to be discovered in electronics and missile technology. None of the commercially available weapons is good enough.

This is not Israel here...and 380 million exports from microchip does not make us India...We never fucken produced one complete system on our own man...not even a plastic land mine...we just buy stuff...Turkey is NOT doing that!

@xtdesign the F-16/Mig is ok, but the Israelis had made an even better aircraft during the 80s, the Lavi (similar to the Eurofighter), then they paid the Israelis to have the project shut, and buy F-16. Upgraded F-16 it's more than enough for our needs

@xtdesign We already have a small, but high tech military industry, we do produce shells, guns, innovative solutions, and aircraft parts, microchip exports alone bring 380 million Euros a year, most of these chips are used in missiles / missile systems, the main buyers are the US NAVY and European industries.

Also the new protective material that protects vehicles and choppers from RPG rockets (specifically made for the US army) is greek invention (Soukos Robots)

@VERGIS92 I also want to tell you... that I really like the f16s we have and I do like having many Leopards, ,artillery units, frigates and Apaches...but I do like much more than that having leaders with ethics-vision and balls for the Greek nation to succeed...Not thieves!!! Leaders and Generals having vision for co-production assembly lines for military equipment...strong aerospace-defense industry...and sharing of know how! Spending wise for freedom YES. just buying weapons NO!!!!

@VERGIS92 First of all...I NEVER implied the message of not buying weapons on my video. You got me wrong. Really! I tried to show with the way I see it how the debt was created...and how much money Greece is spending for military expenditures (which are made by borrowed money from the same countries that produce these weapons and have some really "friendly" banks that give us loans for purchasing those weapons 2-3 times higher than the market price!!!).

@xtdesign You are completely WRONG about military spending, the people of Instabul thought like you 500 years ago, 'ah let's not buy new weapons' then the Turkish came with the newly invented cannon, knocked down the walls and stole this city. The cost of losing that city alone is much higher than any military budget, do your arithmetic. F-16 costing 40million? that's 4Euro for each one of us, and what about weapon parts greeks sell abroad, you are wrong!
