MP3 Experiment Five: The Epic Battle - September 27, 2008

From the MP3 Experiment 5, an epic battle took place on Governor's Island. About 1,000 people gathered for the Improv Everywhere event. We all had an MP3 file on a portable player, we were all listening to it simultaneously for the first time. In the audio we heard the voice of Steve, giving us instructions to follow. For the event we were asked to wear a certain color shirt, and to bring an umbrella and a balloon. After a few exercisizes, we seperated into two separate brigades, and then engaged in battle.

I've heard people make that same kind of comment regarding the MP3 experiments - but in my opinion, that's a simplistic and cynical way of looking at it.

These are people sharing a fun experience, by cooperating in an improvisational setting.
