she gets me when she sings "we can build a dream with love i know". wonderful vocals and so sad considering she was singing about all the assasinations of that decade. MLK and the 2 young brothers (Kennedys). she didn't like performing live on TV but thank God we have this.

Despite the grotesquely-tuned piano, she is an inspiring performer and writer. So sad that her life was shorter than it should have been. I have an old book of Fifth Dimension classics and half of them were written by her. May you be singing today, wherever you are, Laura! You make me look forward to heaven. I see you there - despite your lyrics that said you didn't believe in it.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. One of her bests, and performed brilliantly here. Though, i love the studio ending to this song, but that's alot of horns, etc. Genius.

In this contemporary world of mediocrity where junk masquerades as art and pretension passes for profundity. This beautiful, brilliant woman brought us transcendence,joy,sorrow, melancholy and her unrivalled genius. My heart brakes every time i listen to her music and i'm reminded of her tragic passing. I will always be indebted to this 'Angel In The Dark'.
