He needs to brush up on his teaching skills, he needs anger management therapy and above all he needs to learn some manners. By being physically abusive, no student will respect him !!!!

It's been like that back in the days in Mauritius when I was in college when I told my parents they will say " Li bon mauvais macro " There are others ways to deal with these students n I was scared when I had to attend lectures or even to ask questions to my teacher. At the end of the day its wrong to treat students that way. Obviously this teacher lack of communication skills n even though he is reported he will b transferred to another college. Nothing can b done

we used to get beaten a lot by teachers in primary school. had a near 100percent pass rate for the exams though. if you passed you got straight As if you failed you failed completely. i don't agree with those beatings, my little finger can't stretch straight properly on my right hand because we got beaten so badly. i agree in disciplining the kids but not beating them so bad. we told our parents about the beatings, they couldn't do anything about it, i was a good kid too.
