Celine Dion recorded this song for Paris, in its fight to host the 2012 Olympic games.

Dion recorded the Francis Lemarque song, entitled Paris, in Las Vegas, after the mayor of Paris, Bertrand Delanoë, personally wrote a letter to the singer asking her to record the song.

It's not the first time that Dion has been associated with the Olympic Games. In 1996, she sang The Power of the Dream at the opening ceremony in Atlanta.
