This is one of my favorite Data moments, when he takes command of a ship and puts a pesky officer in his place whilst saving the day. It's from redemption part II.

Wasn't the Romulan commander a security officer on the Enterprise during the first season? She died while teleporting and Jordy was haunted by her for a time.

What Hobson did was just one inch from mutiny. I understand that he's a junior officer, but what he did was so far over the line that I don't see how it could be kept out of his service record.
