ANY CAR IS UNSAFE WHEN YOU'RE GOING 200MPH ! ! ! BTW, The Vettes use fiberglass and CF b/c it's lightweight and strong, not to make it cheap. Hatin' on the 60K car that just ripped a 200K dream machine. What's even more hysterical than that, is the Caddy has a CTS-V that puts a hurtin on the Rarri too- with 4 carseats in the back on the way to soccer practice!

@Boshhaab I agree with you to extent... European cars have better interiors. As far as comfort goes, the Z06 seats are way more comfortable than a Ferrari's (that also negatively affects the performance because the Z06's seats don't provide enough support). As far as safety goes, the frame of the Vette is extremely strong which holds up just fine in accidents. I love European sports cars and love American sports cars and given the opportunity I will have tons of both

@CTSV4MEE To me its fairly simple, if someone wants nothing but speed (+ cheap tuning) , his best bet would be a car like the Z06. If someone wants speed as well as luxury, comfort, safety, class, and can afford to spend the extra bucks, he would get a European sports car. To each his own, I guess.

Never understood the frustration people have with plastic body panels... it is dent resistant, lighter, doesn't rust, easier to replace, harder to scratch, and much more resistant to the elements. In most cases modern "plastic" far out performs metal.
