  • great growth!!!! missed your vids!

  • @Kinkycurlycoil Thanks girl! Hopefully I can get back into it and keep it going. Thanks for watching :)

  • I love your hairstyles. Very simple but effective.

I noticed your hair is straighter at the front. Is this your natural hair texture at the front? The reason I ask is, my hair is straighter at the front and some other areas (frustrations!) and I'm trying to analyse if it's heat damage or just simply my natural hair texture.

  • @RockChickPuds Unfortunately for me that part is heat damaged. I'm currently growing it out. Originally though my texture in the front was very loose and harder to define the curls there. I think this is partly why that area is more prone to damage than the rest. When I wear my natural curls I still apply product to that area and then make about 3 plaits and put rollers on the ends. This helps it to blend in. Otherwise I wear stretched styles so the front isn't as noticeable. HTH :)

  • @mitchellzee I'm glad you are growing it out rather than cutting it all off and starting all over, it makes me cringe when people cut off all of their hair due to some heat damage, I also had heat damage, but overtime with deep conditioners and less heat, my hair bounced right back, the straight ends are gone.

  • @PetUniqueLLC Yeah, I cut the front in the past and then regretted it because it was too short to do anything with. Glad to hear you were able to get yours to turn around though. I'm definitely using less heat now.

  • Hi there Mitchellzee,

You've had so much growth since I stumbled across your channel a few months ago. It's ladies like you and others who inspire me to get more out of my natural hair. Thank you, and see you at your next video.

    Regards, Gina (from London, UK).
