WKYH TV Hazard Kentucky

Another recording WKYH TV during the labor day weekend, September, 1985. Joey Kessler is once again trying to do the weather. A local commercial is at the beginning. The poor quality of the video is not the fault of the tape recording, but the transmission itself. WKYH TV had very old equipment that was barely funcional. Look for the traces of letter and numbers as they smear across the screen from the old videcon tubes in the studio cameras.

I wonder, was Joey Kesler also a staff announcer at WKYH at the time? It almost sounds like him on the IGA supermarket ad, as well as that long station ID and the sign-off.
