Hi I'm Manny Papamanos. I modelled and textured the model in Mudbox. The rig was made with FaceRobot. It's all hand animated except for the mouth which was animated with FaceRobot's Lip Sync. The corners of the mouth is actually driving many controllers.
I noticed that on hidden line captures, the region's bulging may be perfect but it's more subtle when rendered, so I will exaggerate the region's bulge here and there.
This is without any shape, I'll leave that to the very end as I don't want it to interfere with what FR's doing automatically.
I comped the AO.. but noticed I forgot to add the displacement to the AO pass.
That's why the edges are weird...Duh.

  • What stands out to me is how the ears slightly shift as he moves his jaw. That's good detail!
