Rochester, NY's Sleaze-Rock Garage-Punk kings UNCLE SAM's official video for "Don't You Ever" from their legendary debut album, "Heaven Or Hollywood"(1987). This particular clip was shot at the now-defunct Rochester, NY punk club IDOLS.
Lineup includes: SCOTT CESSNA - vocals; LARRY MILLER - guitar; DAVE GENTNER - bass; and GLENN AVERY BRISK - drums.
Uncle Sam, along with Immaculate Mary and The Chesterfield Kings, put Rochester, NY on the Garage-Rock/Glam-Punk map in the 80's and 90's. Influenced by The Stooges, MC5 and Alice Cooper, U.S. released 3 influential and highly collectible albums before splitting up in 1993.
Dave Gentner soon after formed THE VEINS, who still exist today. The Veins recorded their own version of 'Fallout Shelter' and are currently working on their 4th full-length album.
Brilliant band. Love the 1st 2 lps.
