Apochromatic refractors due to their unobstructed, text-book like diffraction patterns produce the sharpest, highest quality optical imaging available bar-none, aperture for aperture, of any telescope optical system. These breathtakingly pristine celestial views are coveted by experienced amateur astronomers. While the cost is expensive compared to a Newtonian reflector of similar aperture, during those cherished moments of transparent and stable air, the aprochromatic refractor delivers the closest experience to being there human beings may ever know.

What is the most faithful imaging known to amateur astronomy worth? At some point, if you stay serious about the hobby, you too will come to the same realization as thousands of others before you that the APO experience, if not priceless, is indeed at least worth the cost of admission. Sky-Watcher is a leader in the design and manufacturer of ED-APO systems.

  • Startravel 80 - £89

    Evostar 80ED - £348

    :O

  • Excellent choise for those not willing to pay a fortune to purchase a TOP brand name like Astro-Physics, Takahashi, Televue, TEC, TMB. It costs half the price of those leading apochromatic refractor companies, being though one step (or maybe two!!) below in image quality, and overall fit and finish level. In summary a superb refractor in modest price

  • I have the 80mm version, very nice & good for imaging if not a little short on aperture

  • @elbukynice 800+ USD

  • how many cost the telescope? i'm mexican
