Watching Lidia brings me back to the days when my grandmother was alive. Both she and her 5 daughters would cook for days prior to a holiday (sometimes even a week). Now my 7-yrs and 5/1/2 yrs old children enjoy watching Lidia's cooking shows with me. Looking forward to watching this Holiday special. Cooking is an awesome way to connect with family and friends to show them how much you love them--while passing on traditions with family.

Looking forward to 12/20/11 @ 8pm. So enjoy her show when it is carried on UNC-TV here in North Carolina. As a Italian/American her show makes me feel @ home ! I have wonderful memories of my grandmother rolling ravioli dough after sunday mass & the 10 grandchildren were allowed to "help" filling the ravioli. Florence Nigro-McCue, Jamestown, NC

I love Lidia. We watch her shows all the time, even the repeats. Her restaurant Lidia Kansas City is wonderful.
