At Daily Grommet were fixing our ripped jeans, frayed shoelaces and snagged cushions with Tear Mender non-toxic adhesive. No sewing, no problem. http://j.mp/128n5S

  • Yep - this one has been around for years and years! A classic with a story to tell.

  • Pretty amazing, right? We love "discovering" stuff like this ... even when it's an old favorite!

  • Son of a Bish!

  • If it dries clear, then it's not latex. Is it water-soluble before it dries? If so, it's not latex. If it dries clear and sort of rubbery, and is water resistant only after it has dried, then it is fabric "glue" as has been sold in fabric stores for decades under various names. I certainly used a lot of it in the mid seventies, onward, even today. It's quite time-stable, but yellows a bit when aged.

  • it is use by upholsterers to apply braiding to chair, and because it drys clear and strong, this product has just been bottle and renamed

  • copydex does the same thing, been using it for 40 years, that is nothing new,

  • Stuff is amazing I have been using it for about 5 years now.

Hard to believe it "The Bish" formulated it back in 1932.
