  • The "model" on the cover of this album is Sandra Moss, then wife of Herb's partner, Jerry Moss. They used a different photo from this same 1964 photo shoot for the "What Now My Love" album cover. The image seems to capture every man's dream, to have a smiling, enchanting, lovely woman draped on his arm. It makes you wish that somehow you could be Herb himself, in some villa south of the border. It's an absolutely captivating shot, and no doubt sold many albums by its evocative imagery alone.

  • Just playing my 'Stereo' original vinyl copy of this album.

Does music get any better than this?

    Nope!!!

This track has always pushed all my buttons...haha!!! :)

  • What a wonderful version of this ever-popular, pre-war classic of love and regret.

  • If the model on this album cover is Jerry Moss' former wife, she must've married for money only because he was surely no prize catch.

  • @jcardel It's a good thing he was going to Mexico to listen to their music back then, cause if he were to try it now he'd return in a pine box.

  • My favorite version of this great song.

  • God this brings back many memories.......I could play on my trumpet all of these songs.....of course this was back in the day...the 1970s....

  • Jerry Moss was a lucky man in '64

  • @xacta2727 its a mexican charro and yes its awesome
