  • like steve says getting drummers together to talk about the groove. he is one of the few drummers that offer staying in that pocket strong and thats why so many artist use him, so my friend Neil Larsen says and i,v been playing that way since the sixties. check out beedosticks on you tube. then try beedojohn. steve you da man. i think we have to gig together

  • This KING OF ALL DRUMMERS EVER!!!!! is responsible for making boring ass songs by Eric Clapton sound interesting!!!!! If it ainta haddena been fer STEVe GADD, That CRAP woulda never been on the radio!!!!!!!!

  • I couldn't agree more with that notion that SG expressed at the end. I teach chemistry for a living and I play drums for fun. The more I teach, the more I learn, and the more fun I have. It really doesn't matter what the subject matter is; that basic idea transcends everything. And he (or she) who dies having had the most fun wins. I do love the sense of responsiblility that the master feels for his "students". I love the drummer; I just learned to like the person!

  • @MrFreeman420 Does it honestly really matter now? He's clean. He did more recording sessions and touring in the 70's and 80's than I could ever dream of. Playing day and night, one sesh to the next to a tour....etc. It's no wonder that he turned to coke to keep that schedule up.

  • Steve Gadd, the Leonardo Da Vinci of drums, Learn from the master, I have.

  • HUDSON FUCKING MUSIC
