PTH RIPPER and PTH 250 SPECIAL working on native, non-prepared rock near Blanco Texas. There was no preliminary work done on this project, the ripper and crusher were simply "put into the ground" to demonstrate their effectiveness. Watch the crusher work on ledge rock. Some of the rock crushed was in excess of 18" in size.

  • Not attempting to dodge your question, it depends on the type of material to be crushed and the configuration of the crusher. We can put up to three crushing stages in our machine, which of course allows for quicker reduction.

The project in Blanco, TX was very soft rock with a single crushing stage.

  • what is the usual size reduction, and how many passes to get reasonably fine grains?

  • Can I borrow that?
