@benerval7 I was in one, and being a bigger person both tall and wide, I gotta say it really isn't that comfortable in ways it actually made the pain worse

The US military calls this a "SKED". i trained mobilized guard and Reserve units on the use of this for several years. great piece of equipment. I have been strapped in it, and I gotta say that its fairly comfortable too.
