Bill Gaither is not a bass singing master !

I like JD Sumner, but Sterban made bass voices mainstream.

Great fun! Why is it always the little guy has the deep bass voice?

@PoMilostiEvo Songs of lust? Listen to the words. He’s singing about his girlfriend who he’s going to ask to marry him. There's nothing sinful about this song – especially next to the whole book of The Song of Solomon in the Bible.
People who think Gospel singers have betrayed God when they sing secular songs amuse me. Should an evangelist speak ONLY of God and nothing else? Since we are created for the pleasure of God, of course God understands that we, too, want pleasure.

@PoMilostiEvo And everyone else...You guys making a big thing about this need to lighten up.

@GVFans Apologetix?

Its interesting how in the American culture, there is no line of what is acceptable for Christians and Christian groups. They can be singing songs of worldly lust or love, and then commence to sing Jesus Hold My Hand, or similar. It is very sad to see that everything is so grey, no black or white. Holy or unholy. The Oak Ridge Boys are a good example of this and those who follow in their footsteps.

Why are they singing Elvira?
I would think they would sing the christian version sang by the Cathedrals - Go Jonah.
I've been searching for years trying to get a copy of that song.

They were singing Elvira as a tribute to the Oak Ridge Boys - I have never heard "Go Jonah", but since Signature Sound is doing a Cathedrals Tribute project and taping now, maybe that song will show up!
