And now, as much as it disappoints me to see it happen so quickly, Bruce gives the final farewell from the only show he ever hosted here in America. We would futurely see Marc Summers host Double Dare on Nickelodeon later the same year. Bruce Forsyth would go back to England and continue hosting shows there. In my opinion, he was not given a fair chance here in America, and I am deeply sorry for him. His charisma, energy, and great support is one of the best in the television game show industry

*My respects to thewhammy83 who also posted this episode prior to me. The quality of his episode however, was questionable to me. So, I posted to see if this quality was any better. But kudos to thewhammy83, who is a really good tape trader*

  • You're right about him not getting a fair chance in America, I'll say that. But I guess it's safe to say that the timeslot was to blame (NBC Wheel AND TPIR in the same slot!).

  • @Hondo20132 I can bet an afternoon time slot would've been better for him. Forsyth himself is an AWESOME host, hands down! Maybe if he had an afternoon time slot with this show, he would've had a better chance with this show to last a little long. That's how I think of it

  • @mtiller2006 I think that if they would've put the show on NBC along with $ale of the Century, SCRABBLE, Wheel of Fortune and Super Password, THEN Bruce Forsyth would've gotten a fair shake, instead, I think that it was a great Game Show with a great concept, but having it on abc was not a HOT Idea

  • thank goodness Nick called for the annouhncer
