At about 10PM one evening, in the midst of final exams and move out, the worst week in a college student's life, I got a call from my 17 year old brother. He was upset and told me how one of his best friends was diagnosed with Leukemia for the second time. Over the next few days I began to re-examine priorities and the blessings in my own life aside from the material and petty troubles we are so often overtaken by. The result: I wrote this song inspired by Dean. With the help of so many talented and good-hearted friends, family, and students and teachers, we put together this song and video to express and pass along life's true meaning and motivation. Along with the other's who have supported Dean through this time, here's another tribute to Dean Sindel from all your friends and those you have touched with your story. Thanks Dean for inspiring us with your fight and positive attitude to re-examine the real joys in life. We've all got your back!
