seems unclear, go back to slow, strong fingers and practice until that part is smooth.
Well, i guess that's just 1 tip, but its like...mooched all together, aha.

Some tips that may help:
1) When learning a new piece, always play with STRONG, and i mean STRONG, fingers (don't worry about dynamics) and NO NO NO NO NO pedal (i can't stress that enough). Keep practicing over and over again with strong fingers and don't get out of that habit. Then, when you feel that it is nice and smooth, increase the tempo. Slowly increase it until at the point where you feel the tempo is correct, then add some pedal. If you do come accross a section that

i finished abrsm so im doing this competition whose name escapes me
but i only have three months to learn a chopin etude, a bach prelude&fugue, and a mozart sonata (well that one hardly matters cause i learned it before)
so it wouldnt be smart to go back to this one
