  • you are VERY VERY VERY dumb ...

  • It's a joke folks. helped save a show once though!!! love your board MeewHouse btw.

  • I know!

I was just having fun hombre!

  • Uh, learning how to use a wrench is a life skill. What coulkd be easier than turning a nut counterclockwise and back again?

That double sided tape coin would make a nice third nipple.

  • The problem would be with this particular wah that the nut aint goin nowhere after 20 years of grime!!

    Like all my other wahs!

  • cheap? that's still 5 cents right out of my wallet...

  • you dont really need to do this you know, there is an even cheaper, neater and easier way...

if you look at the switch with the back of the pedal off, you will see that it is held in place by 2 nuts, either side of the metal case, on a screw thread. if you loosen the nut inside the case, then tighten the nut outside, both nuts will have moved down the screw thread, effectively making the switch protrude out of the case more, making it easier to push. Its a simple adjustment.

  • just take the rubber feet off. same result.

  • Life changing :)

  • just cut the two rubber feet under the rocker. actualy lots of pros do this right of the bat.

  • 5 cents!! use a 1cent washer instead, massive 400% saving. now that's cheap.

  • Good tip there, man. It's all very well people saying "just adjust the nuts" but I put a new 3PDT switch in my old wah and the threaded shaft just wasn't as long as the old one so even with excessive pressure it was hit-or-miss whether the pedal would turn on, even though I'd replaced the worn felt pad with a new one. The solution - as in the vid, I glued a UK 5 pence piece (smallest diameter coin minted) straight onto the felt pad on the underside of the top plate. Result: crisp switch action!

  • holy fuck, either you have a light foot, or the pedal isn't that old. I ride my fucking wah, and ya it was tight in the beginning, but I would be more worried of switching that off when I didn't want to then not being able to switch it on.

  • lol, this is kinda outdated now. i modded my pedal to fix this issue. it looked like the last owner (i bought it used) had cut them off to make toggling it easier. i removed the switch (and did a couple other mods) and put it off to the side, like if you took a digitech whammy and turned it 180 degrees. i like it better this way. now i don't have to start sweeping at the top, i can start at the bottom or midway.

  • @firelightguitarist are the rubber feet on the sway part of the pedal worn or missing?

  • sand a little surface area off of the rubber feet on the bottom of the swaying part of the pedal.

  • i need a reverse mod of this. mine clicks on and off when i sweep too much. like when i play Bulls on Parade. it's uber annoying

  • i totally agree bergice1. besides i like the characteristics of my chrome 535Q. after all, it is a "stomp box" }; >}

  • agreed, clean mods are the way to go. do it right, do it once.

  • I wouldnt really consider this a mod but its still pretty bitchin' lol.. anybody out there know if the area 51 wah is even worth the price?

  • Thats lame....

Its hard to switch so you arent gonna switch it mistakenly..

  • indeed. ;)

  • read tjsr210 's comment and get your 5 cents back

  • just take off those rubber plugs under the tip of the front of the wah top

  • LMAO I think im gonna try to fart on my wah after this one.

  • i broke mine by stomping on it so hard that i broke the damn switch!

  • great tip! but doesnt this means that its much easier to turn off while you use iit?

  • you're right! that only costs a penny! No lying here folks!

  • yea and it turns off just as easy...
