It is a shame there was no season 2 but that is the reality of this business, if you can't pull the ratings, you get cancelled. At least we have 18 episodes that will live for eternity.

i watched the first season in Netflix and so disapointed when i realized that there was no season 2 becouse of stupid American Idol

I remember watching this when it aired. Before she presented the punch line, I remember thinking "oh that's so dumb" (about the little girl tugging at her dress and saying she wants to be president because of her) and then when geena davis says "well that didn't actually happen" i thought, "brilliant!!!" ha ha great speech!
