Pakistani Taliban Leader Threatens to Attack U.S.

The commander of Pakistan's Taliban -- a man wanted by the United States -- has claimed responsibility for Monday's deadly attack on a police academy in Lahore, eastern Pakistan. And he has threatened to attack the United States. In telephone interviews with VOA and other news organizations, Baitullah Mehsud said the Lahore attack was retaliation for U.S. drone attacks in tribal areas bordering Afghanistan.
