  • I am 83 years of age. I was introduced to Mr. Helms singing voice and The Band in 1969 via my daughter, who is deceased now. Thank you for your music Mr. Helm.

I was in the Tank Destroyers in the Army in the philipine Islands during WW II. I saw a film clip of Mr. Helm talking to a WW II Marine who was wounded during the war but I cant find the clip again. The Mans name was Mr. Gill. At any rate I'd like to say "sempter fi" to him and everyone who ever served in the military. Thank you all.

  • I have loved this man for 39 years. I could not imagine life or music without him. Be well LeVon, play on and live long.

  • What an humble man! I began listening to The Band in 1969. I was a very young teenager and fell in love with Levon"s singing and his playing. I still listen to his music and watch his videos every day. There will never be another Levon. When God was handing out talent, He gave Levon an extra portion. His music has touched my heart so many times.

  • A great musician and artist and one hell of a man.

  • very touching! Keep rocking My friend levon! Kit

  • Yes, thanks Mr. Gill and everyone who was drafted or joined the military to fight for the U.S. in every war we have ever been in. Especially Viet Nam.
