La fiesta de la posada, the festival of the inn, usally it is about the story of Jesus' birth, not sure in this context. As to your sister, the pink skirt, cat ears and all I think it's awesome she is herself. My now 20 year old daughter wore cat ears almost her entire freshman year in high school, and took a lot of garbage from other students for it. Amazed me how angry a pair of cat ears could make people. Fact is individuals scare people, but individuals rock. Rock on Kitty rock on.

Kitty (my sister) ALWAYS wears cat ears, drags KitKat (the stuffed animal cat) EVERYWHERE (seriously, its been to egypt, spain, germany, france... I even have pictures!!!) She is wearing pink because it is her favorite color and she despises black. She doesnt have a thing in her closet that is black! and La Feista de la Posada is a celebration. Its HER chorus SHE is the one that learned about it... dont ask me!!!
