This is a loving tribute to my friend, Ginny Arnell. For fellow fans- Welcome, I think you will love this, here are rare fan photos kindly supplied by Ginny, and fellow fans! For those who have never heard of Ginny, here is a chance to begin your journey into learning about a very unique singer that today is highly respected for her unique singing within the Girl Group Sound genre. Her unique voice and songs enrich and beautifully exemplifies the early1960's Girl Group Sound. See rare fan photos of this wonderful artist and listen to two of her favorite songs-"Yesterday's Memories" and "This Is Mine", not singles, but wonderful cuts from her 1964 album "Meet Ginny Arnell".

  • Ginny is one of my favorite singers of the 60s. I haven't heard these two songs, and in my opinion her performance is better in these songs than on her hits. Unfortunately she didn't have the opportunity to record enough high quality songs or she would have been much more successful. She was a better singer than many of the popular girl singers and groups of the 1960s. Ginny probably was too nice, and not controversial enough to be noticed after the British Invasion.

  • Sergio,

I echo Wes' remarks. Thank you very, very much for doing this. It was quite interesting to see a lot of the personal photos, ones which most of her fans have likely never seen before. It is wonderful that the memory of her music is being kept alive thanks to your efforts such as yours.

    Greetings from London, Canada,

    Randy
