E-waste in Africa

The safe disposal of unwanted computers, printers, mobile phones and other electronic devices - collectively known as "e-waste" - is a growing problem throughout Africa. Much of the electronic waste enters Africa in the form of donations or products for sale. In Kenya, the government and an e-waste recycling plant are spearheading efforts in East Africa to keep the environment clean and safe. VOA's Cathy Majtenyi reports Nairobi.
