Actually, the prices of the merchandise in Ben Thanh market are very reasonable though negotiable. It costs those merchants between 1,000.00 and 2,000.00 USD a month just to rent a crampy and sweaty kiosk there. I wonder how many pieces of these commodities they have to sell a day just to pay for the rental.
Next times, I myself won't be bargaining so hard knowing that how much these beautiful and nice people have to go through daily just to make a living.
