I loved the first book in the Farseer trilogy. Thank you for the push to read it. :)

Yeah Hobb is one of my all time favorite authors. She is right up there with Martin and Jordan. Start with the Farseer trilogy the first of three trilogy's based in the same world. It's well worth the read and the books are full of action and hard to put down. Though its probably the most melancholy bitter sweet high fantasy you will ever read.

I haven't read any Robin Hobb books yet. I believe I own one though for the future.
I haven't heard about A Wheel of Time being on the screen. I shall go look it up right now! Thank you for mentioning it! :D

Yup yup, it tis a mighty fine time to be a high fantasy fan! Got Robin Hobbs Dragon Keeper, George RR Martins A Dance With Dragons, And Robert Jordan's A Memory Of Light all coming out around the same time! And now BOTH A Song Of Ice And Fire AND A Wheel Of Time will be on the screen soon! HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY!!! Though Im not too happy about TOR splitting the last book in A Wheel Of Time into three parts. That was not Robert Jordan's dieing wish!

I was excited. And this is my channel. If I choose to freak out and be excited over a book series being turned into a tv series, I will. :)

Well, HBO has done well with Charlaine Harris' books. :) Or so I hear from the book fans.
