Now YOU can fly a replica of the P-40 Warhawk made famous by the "Flying Tigers" squadron of World War II! With a wingspan of 86" this impressive R/C model is IMAA-legal, and every detail of this revered warbird is captured with Gold Edition engineering in an ARF that assembles in just a few hours and flies as scale as it looks.

The built-up balsa and ply airframe is covered in flat-finish MonoKote® film in an authentic camouflage trim scheme. Quality fiberglass is used for the cowl, belly pan and landing gear covers, and they come pre-painted — including the iconic "shark mouth" nose art! A detailed instrument panel adds to the authenticity of the cockpit, and the split flaps are ribbed just like on a full-size P-40. Heavy-duty fixed landing gear comes with this model, but you can achieve the ultimate in realism by installing Robart® retracts, which are available separately.

Performance is just like the full-size plane as well. An affordable and easy-to-maintain 43-55 cc gasoline engine provides all the power you need to fly sorties at your airfield. A painted aluminum spinner is included, and the wings are reinforced in the landing gear mounting area to withstand the impact of a less-than-perfect touchdown. Whether you're a scale military enthusiast or a giant-scale pilot, put yourself at the controls of Top Flite's Giant Scale P-40 Warhawk and relive the days when Tigers ruled the skies!

  • I hope the covering is better than on the GS P51...

  • @shangsandy87 Watch a real P-40 drop its wheels! They never come down at the same rate...

  • Awesome!!! Totally Awesome. Would a G-62 work in this plane? Also, will there be a kit version? There are some people out there that still like to build.

  • awesome! Will this come in kit form or only ARF? Regardless, I'm buying one as soon as they are available! THANKS TOP FLITE!!!

  • Awesome but why retracts are not synchronized?
