@kaliontzidis my family is from buyukdere were are greeks from tinos orignally from venice we left turkey in 1922 i am interested in the plane tree of the crusaders that was cut down in 1920 does the spot still exist ?

the tree that was cut down in 1920 does the spot still there my father played around it as a child he grew up in buyukdere my family lived there for hundreds of years they left in 1922 for greece we are the ghisi family of venice and tinos i live in america would love to vist in summer of 2011 my grandfather has told many stories of his homtown

I lived in Sariyer. Especially the Italian church & Surp Hripsimyantz have special places in my heart
