Zack & Wiki - Three Colossi

No, they're not the same Colossi that Wander destroys in Shadow of the Colossus. Sorry to disappoint you.

Anyway, this next part of my first-time playthrough for Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure, begins with a trip back to the Sea Rabbits HQ. Someone told me that the game actually brings up the lack of a left-handed option, that if you talk to Barbaros enough, he'll mention it. So I decided to have Barbaros keep saying stuff until, lo an behold, he actually brings it up:

"Unfortunately for southpaws, every item in this world is designed for right handers. Make sure you hold the Wii Remote in your right hand."

No doubt this comment came around when a left-handed Capcom worker brought up the idea of a left-handed version of the game.

"Three Colossi" is the fourth puzzle I decide to try my hand at in this game, and it's also the first where I make a mistake that brings about Zack's end. If you decide to tackle this, be sure to do it in this order:
1. Go to the switch on the left. Flip around the crank so it fits.
2. Turn the crank to get the Totem Head and put it on the red button.
3. Go to the switch on the right and crank it so the ball starts rolling.

Otherwise, Zack gets killed--that urn contains a gigantic stone ball!

I messed up twice before I found out that the order is important. I should make a mental note of that in the future when I play this game, though I thought the urn contained something Zack needed to proceed.

It's funny at around 3:43 when Zack gets run over, while Wiki just flies happily in the air, not having a care in the world! :D

i thought at one point i could place the stone totem head on the button AFTER i lowered the chest. X_X i remember thinking "Zack? you just STAND THERE while the trap activates?!?"

Well, Zack gets a sword near the end of the game...though all of the battling is indirect.
