Yea I hate that! Always when I did a pretty good paint job I have to be very careful not to touch the miniature too much or the paint will come off because of my skin touching it.

Instead of using white to lighten a red color, you could try a little orange, to avoid a pink highlight. Progress looks good. The red armor is coming out well. And the cloak does look like a High Elves White Lion cloak :). The basework looks great, cool stonework. I'm wondering why you don't have that front tip of the base painted? Are you gonna add something there?

It's where I scrape my brush while dry-brushing...Unfortunately I keep having to touch-up alot too ...my hands are wearing off the paint...the primer just cant take my dry skin:)
