With a bad economy, the fire looks suspicous. Anything or anyone could have set that building on fire- we cannot rule out arson; might be more to it than just the fireworks. I would not be surprised to later learn that someone in total debt needed an escape via arson.

Actually nope, the bosses of the CCTV tower next to it were setting off fireworks on the last day of Chinese new years and some had landed onto the Oriental tower sparking this.
They have already apologized.
