This phonograph was made by the Burns Pollock Electric Manufacturing Co of Indiana in the early 1900s after electricity became common to have in homes. It has 2 pulls to turn on the light bulbs and the plush top lid opens to reveal the phonograph and another light, as well. I am sure this was top of the line and very high tech in its day. The metal base is a beautiful art nouveau design that was very popular at that time. Due to the novelty, rarity and super condition of this piece, it is still a knock-out today!
