Anonymusum - yes sir you are correct and things certainly got out of control pretty fast. I have always wondered when, if they wanted to, Germany might of ended the war with some sort of an advantage.

You forget the fact that WW1 wasn´t started by Germany. It begain in Sarajrwo and the Austro-Hungarian crisiis.

A very important turning point of the history. If the Russians won,the war would be over for Germany before 1915.The battle of Tannenberg is the perfect example of how a small but trained army, lead by excellent commanders, could win against a biggest ennemy.

@gtptubac why would you include almosts? thats just stupid sorry because almosts can go on forever
-
@gtptubac And if not Poland, Great Britain would be dead too, and whole Eorupe, becouse of Turkey invasion.

lol, wrong flag

The Germans sure knew how to start a war and fight it but not when and how to end the thing to their advantage....

@rahulpower The Russians had been completely outclassed by the Germans, and its a story mirrored throughout history. I can't think of many instances that Russia defeated Germany when the order of battle had been even.
@XxxSakura101 Well they didn't, thank God in my opinion. And this feet has been successfully accomplished by other civilizations before the Germans. I'm referring to just a few of them in chronologically order:
Greeks (4th century b.C.) [Alexander the Great]
Romans (1st century b.C.) [Julius Cesare]
(almost) Huns (4th century a.C.) [Attila]
(almost) French (18th century a.C.) [Napoleon Bonaparte]
Almost because the were actually defeated in the end.
