The 3rd Street Fighter II release for the Super Nintendo just might not be worth picking up if you already have the first two! It's not a bad game by any means (It's Street Fighter II after all!) but if you bought this game back in the day you were basically just paying for 4 new playable characters and some tweaks here and there.

  • Very good review. I have a question. How did you made your self as a cartoon at the beggining of each video?

  • @octanet26 Tobibrocki Youtuber/aspiring artist drew that. He can draw awesome characters on his computer.

  • Excellent review Jake! :) How did you get the footage in 16:9? it still looks ok and it has not been zoomed in on?

    Great video!

  • @misterintellivision Yeah nice eh. Funny thing with SF2 is it already had small black bars on top and bottom of the screen. I only had to stretch it a small amount to fill the sides so it wasn't noticeable.

  • Sf 2 sucks but buy the new street fighter game

  • Me too

  • Do u know street fighter 4

  • I much prefer the plain old Turbo version. I cant stand the butchered music in this one...it almost sounds like a Genesis (god help us) and the sound effects in general are so different, sounds cheap and compressed compared to Turbo.

  • Hyper Street Fighter 2 was in asia and japan only but you can play it on the street fighter anniversey collection with street fighter III 3rd strike on the X-Box (original) and the PS2 . i think super turbo was less cheesier than this one because it had every thing what this one was missing like super combos and akuma ,etc i mean when i played both super and super turbo i was like whats the whole point of calling it super if theres nothing "super" about it you know

  • lol@ Chun Li becoming a normal girl

  • Yeah, some people will like plain SF2 & Turbo edition, because Super does have a slightly different look and sound. I've been playing the arcade versions a lot recently, and I also prefer plain old SF2, because I like the look of it more and the music. Of course it's slower and more limited, but it's still my fave.

I did love Super on the 3DO though. The CD music is awesome on that.

  • This game is a classic! never gets old thanx 4 uploading 1 of my fav classic capcom games, peace

  • There are speed options (at least in the Genesis version): Press left or right on the GAME START screen.

  • Watch this video with closed captioning. @ 1:42 Hurricane kick = Thank You
