In there studio videos when they recorded this song they put the mic like two feet away from the player so it caught alot of the players sounds of moving from chord to chord. When micing an acoustic guitar they needed to put the mic close to the opening of the strings and close to the guitar so as to minimalize the pick scraps and scratches. I also feel that this should have been done in a vocal booth to help the acoustics.

There are way to many pick scrapes and slides in this song. The producer and engineer need to make sure that the player plays this cleanly. There is a way to minimalize the pick scraps and scratches as the player moves from chord to chord believe it or not. This is an alright recording of an interlude and could be done better. I think Kittie could have improved significantly if Morgan Landers were to practice and get better as a guitar player I feel.
