@Spitfirebird I want to get this version on Blu-ray although I have the Steelbook collectors version of the newly restored and constructed 2010 version that has the best picture and longest version to date, I still have a fondness to the Moroder version, it's like your first true love est it opened my eyes to a respect and fondness to great cinema, plus anything Freddie Mercury is involved with must be a good thing!

@Spitfirebird I'm not sure what your comment about America is about as the film was made in Germany and Giorgio Moroder is Italian! I'm in the UK by the way and love 70's 80's & classical music.

The soundtrack for the 1927 and 1984 movie is really great!
Both fit perfectly
but of course the Huppertz-Music is the original !!!
